This is a pro-bono volunteer position.   JerseySTEM is seeking dedicated individuals to contribute their time and expertise as long-term engagements to support our mission of providing STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls.   The Deputy Head of Curriculum Development and Training in the PODS (PrOgram DeSign) department assists in providing leadership, guidance, and planning to create and refine curriculum that aligns with JerseySTEM's mission. They play a key role in supporting College Students who volunteer as Program Instructors to deliver engaging STEM curricula to middle school girls.

This is a pro-bono volunteer position.   JerseySTEM provides free after school STEM classes to underserved middle school girls grade 5-8.  The Coding Team Lead will research, design and curate, format and test a set of 10 lessons (2 hours each) to introduce topics of block coding, programming, MIT App Inventor, emulators etc in an age appropriate manner to the Middle school girls.

The Intern will be responsible to work on projects relevant to JerseySTEM mission to deliver after school enrichment classes to underserved kids.
